Cheese Cake Mix (Chocolate and Vanilla)
I'm sharing this recipe in hope that when you're tired of your boring low-fat and no-fat diets , you will treat your self to this VEry crREAmy ,cheeZEEy cake and pray for me :) I like my cheesecakes less sour, I mean little tinge in cream cheese is GOOD and that's what makes the cheesecake but i don't add lemon zest or lemon. so its totally optional , but I'd say try it my way n u won't regret :)
Ingredients:
1 pack Biscuits or cookies
1/2 cup melted butter
2 tbsp coco powder
275 g cream cheese
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla essence
3/4 cup +2 tbsp cup sugar
8 tbsp double cream
3 tbsp plain flour
1/2 tbsp vegetable oil
extra vegetable oil to grease
Method:
>Preheat oven to 180 C
>Grease a 9 or 8 inch spring form pan well with vegetable oil
>Make sure all your ingredients are at room temperature
>Finely grind the biscuits and add melted butter to it enough that a soft dough forms. You can use chocolate biscuits, plain biscuits, or add 1 tbsp coco powder to the plain biscuits and enough butter to mix everything.
Now its all up to your taste buds :) Press this mixture on the base of tin evenly with the back of a spoon.
>Now in bowl #1: beat cream cheese, 3/4 cup sugar, 8 tbsp cream, vanilla essence together. add eggs one by one and beat.add plain flour beat. When I say beat it means only enough to mix don't just go beating away.
>Now in bowl #2 : add the 2 tbsp sugar, 2 tbsp coco powder , 1/2 tbs veg oil, and 12 tbsp cream cheese mixture and MIX.
>Now in your cake tin pour half the cream cheese batter and then half the chocolate batter. Repeat with the remaining. Now take a fork and move it once lightly in the batter making swirls.( or you can design your own cheesecake)
Bake at 180 C for 15 mins, then without opening door decrease temp to 120 C and bake for 60 to 90 mins. now depending on your oven check the cake after 40 minutes see how much more it needs to be baked.
Now switch off the oven and let the cake cool in the oven for half an hour then take out. Chill it in refrigerator overnight before serving for best results.
